Deciding on the right boiler for your home might sound daunting but we provide clear information and advice based on the size of your property and the number of occupants.

Let us help you choose the right boiler according to your usage, home size and fuel type. Most boilers we install are mains gas fuelled combi-boilers that heat your home and and provide hot water but not every home will be best suited.

Here are the options.

• Combi Boiler (Combination): Heats water directly from the mains on demand. Best for small-to-medium homes with one bathroom (or possibly two if not in use at the sametime) and limited space, as no tanks are needed.
• Regular Boiler (Conventional / Heat-Only): Needs both a hot water cylinder and a cold water tank in the loft. Best for older properties with traditional radiators or low water pressure.
• System Boiler: Works with a separate hot water storage cylinder. Best for larger homes with multiple bathrooms where hot water is used in different places at once.

In this case we swapped out an old Vaillant boiler for a new Worcester Bosch. The old Vaillant boiler had done a great job over the years but had finally given up. The Worcester Bosch Greenstar range of boilers is probably the most popular we currently install. They're competitively priced, reliable and some with extensive warranties - according to model and regular servicing.
