What does a boiler service involve?

It is the job of a qualified, gas-registered engineer to undertake a thorough examination of your boiler. Here at TK Watts Plumbing & Heating, we make sure that no stone is left unturned and carry out each boiler service with the utmost care and attention. This will include:

• Removing the front of the boiler for it to be inspected and cleaned
• Examining the pipework and seals for leaks
• Checking the pressure and inspecting the boiler flue for safety
• Inspecting the burner and heat exchanger for any dirt deposit
• Testing the expansion vessel
• Igniting the boiler to listen out for any unusual noises
